I love my wife. She’s amazing. Life hasn’t exactly been fair to her, but she keeps an amazingly positive attitude about it. She’s my best friend and I love her more than life itself.
Abigail travels for work so there are times we go days without seeing each other. Mr. Dude (our three year old son) and I miss her when she’s gone. Technology is great with helping to fill that gap when we’re apart. FaceTime is in regular use whenever she travels. The same goes for the much less frequent times that I travel.
Abigail and I have been married for ten years now and friends for years before that. I love that she’s the mother of my child. She teaches us both so much every week. I’m the person I am today because of that.
She was (and still is) incredibly patient with me in teaching me all about how to care for a child. I’d never changed a diaper before we had our son. She showed me how and let me learn by mistake once or twice. She’s a great teacher.
I sometimes get frustrated with my day job or become bitter twoards others based on things that happened in the past. She uses her kind words to inspire me and motivate me to forgive. Her words of encouragement energize me to keep working twoards the goals we both have for our lives. She’s a great partner in life.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of our lives together will be like. I love you, Abigail.
