CMX Market Cinema Old Orchard, a unique combination of luxury movie-going experience with refined self-serve culinary and beverage selections, will debut its “Free Kids Movie Escape” promotion, offering the latest movies at no charge for all guests on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at 10 a.m. throughout August 1, 2019.
CMX Market Cinema provides guests with luxury amenities on a family-friendly level where movies are shown on the big screen with world-class technology, plush leather seats for optimal comfort and gourmet food items that appeal to younger guests, while accommodating adults as well. We loved our visit in January. On eligible days of “Free Kids Summer Movie Escape,” free entry will be offered on a “first come first serve” basis.

The market concept is inspired by the widely popular food hall concept that allow foodies to experience a wide selection of delicious meals. The full array of snack stations includes the in-house pizza station featuring delicious hand-crafted pizzas made from scratch with market fresh ingredients. The “Buns and Shakes Destination” features made-to-order burgers and smooth and creamy hand-spun shakes. Additionally, the popcorn “lab” features a selection of gourmet fresh-popped hot popcorn including buttered, caramel, cheese or mixed.
This location caters to parents and adults with a variety of wine, beer and signature cocktails from the full bar. There is also a delicatessen grab-and-go station featuring elegant cheese and charcuterie platters, market-fresh salads and gourmet deli sandwiches.
Doors to the cinema will open at 9 a.m., an hour in advance of the first movie screening at 10 a.m. Groups, schools and camps are also welcome to join in on the free movie experience.
