The 6 Places My Son Got Himself Stuck This Week

Most four-year-olds are inquisitive and adventurous little creatures. My son is no exception. He loves to climb on, under, in, and around basically everything. It’s a good thing my wife and I are not planning on having any more children too. I wake up more mornings to a swift kick or knee in the groin from said 4-year-old wanting breakfast around 6:45 a.m. Ouch.

Here now, for your enjoyment, is a list of six places my explorer son has gotten himself stuck in the last week:

1.) Car Seat Head Rest

Getting in and out of a car seat can be tricky. Especially if one inserts their feet into the head rest in front of them.

2.) Play Jean’s Knee Hole

This is what happens when attempting to get ready to visit the playground in too much haste.

3.) The “Couch”

I understand that this is a futon. I still call it a couch. We need a new couch but have you seen the prices on those things recently?!

4.) Child Eating Jogging Stroller

I unloaded the trunk a few days ago and put our camping chairs in it to make the stroll inside easier. Wes found it and totally had to “go for a ride.” I told him to wait a minute, then this happened before I could clear off the seat for him.

5.) Storage Closet

We’re going to have to rethink our storage closet and children’s clothing plan now.

6.) Watching TV on the Floor

What other way is there to watch television than with your feet between the back bars of a rocking chair and your bum on the floor!?!??
