‘Movies Anywhere’ Keeps My Movie Collection in My Pocket

Disclaimer: I’ve partnered with Movies Anywhere for the creation and sharing of this post.
I freaking love Movies Anywhere. A large portion of my movie collection is accessible on the service. That means I can literally take my movie anywhere I go. Even better, the ability to create sub-profiles for my kids allows me to bring their movies along too. All while keeping it age appropriate based on my own family’s values and guidelines based on the rating restrictions I set for content access.
I can take any of my movies with me while I travel or visit family over the holidays using the Movies Anywhere app on my phone/tablet. The movies can be private and on my device or streamed to a local TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, or Apple TV. That means I no longer have to carry around my binders of DVDs/Blu-rays to make sure I have the holiday favorites for the kids to watch (or those classic holiday flicks like Die Hard.) Some of the recently purchased favorites on the service include:
I grew up watching this movie every Christmas Day. The story is hopeful, yet full of questions open for interpretation. My wife spent a few years in Rotterdam as an au pair so the part where the little girl speaks Dutch has a special place in our hearts as well.
Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
This is another annual classic in my family. It is one of the first movies of the holiday season we watch because of the Halloween/Christmas crossover in the storyline. Tim Burton is a brilliant storyteller in both plot point and imagery. Can’t get enough of this movie.
It just isn’t Christmas time without this movie. The inappropriate hilarity and uncomfortable family comedy moments make this a must-see every holiday season.
I’ve only seen this movie a handful of times. It is, however, one of my kiddo’s favorite animated holiday flicks so I’m happy to have it in the rotation.
You are correct in asking “What does this movie has to do with Christmas?” Nothing really, but it is a great retro styled action flick I’m enjoying this holiday season. This is adults only R rated movie. However, the storytelling is intense and the action is at times jaw-dropping. I generally always love stylized action flicks like this.
Next time you get one of those brand new DVD or Bluray sets with a digital download make sure to get Movies Anywhere in on the action. You can link basically all your movies from iTunes, Prime Video, Vudu, Google Play, FandangoNow, and other digital movie providers all together in one place. It’s fantastic. IDK how I lived my life so long without it.
Do you use Movies Anywhere? What is your favorite movie currently showing on the service right now? Let me know in the comments.
