I’ve been a fan of Star Trek since I was a little kid. I grew up on re-runs of Star Trek: The Original Series and then became hooked as a viewer of Star Trek: The Next Generation in the 1980s & 1990s.

I remember watching Levar Burton on both Reading Rainbow & Star Trek: The Next Generation. That Reading Rainbow episode all about Star Trek: The Next Generation made me want to visit a Star Trek TV show set one day.

Patrick Stewart has been a personal hero for decades. He’s such a good actor and a good person. I’m really happy to see him on screen again in Star Trek: Picard.

Wil Wheaton’s openness to talk about his mental health journey and that Stone Brewing beer collab make me feel like we could be best friends.

There are so many actors and actresses from these shows (both classic and current Trek) that I would love to talk with in person. I could go on and on.

Until recently I was never a fan of cruise ships. I didn’t understand the appeal. Now, after spending 5 days on Royal Caribean over my 40th birthday, I totally get it.

That’s why I’m adding Star Trek: The Cruise to my Bucket List.

How cool must this be to attend? Totally Bucket List worthy.

Have you thought about going?

Would you go if you had the chance?

It’s happened a few times before and seems like it will happen for several more years to come.

You can get all the details on next year’s cruise at StarTrekTheCruise.com.
