Museum Welcomes Chicago Poets to Perform and Write Poetry Onsite in Celebration of National Poetry Month

WNDR Museum, Chicago’s original immersive art and technology experience, is celebrating performance artists this spring with the debut of an all-new installation entitled Boxed In. The rotating installation provides the opportunity to showcase a variety of local performance artists in a new and unique way. In honor of National Poetry Month, WNDR Museum will also welcome several Chicago-based poets to perform and write poetry onsite at various times throughout the month of April. Open seven days a week, WNDR Museum is located in Chicago’s West Loop at 1130 W. Monroe St.

Currently on view is Boxed In: Movement which features performances from Chicago-based dancers Jasmine Pumanes, Brandon Jackson and Carly Carroll in celebration of the Year of Chicago Dance.

“Since its inception, WNDR Museum has provided a space to showcase the arts in all its forms,” said Ryan Kunkel, President of WNDR Global. “Whether celebrating the Year of Chicago Dance with Boxed In: Movement or National Poetry Month with live poetry readings, WNDR Museum guests will find a new experience with every visit.”

WNDR Museum was recently voted one of the top five immersive art experiences in the country by USA Today’s 2021 Reader Poll. Located in the West Loop, the 10,000 square-foot museum disrupts and redefines the traditional museum experience by inviting guests to fully engage with the artworks and multi-sensory installations.

Tickets to WNDR Museum are $30 and must be purchased in advance at WNDRmuseum.com. Children ages two and under receive free admission.
