The Village of Rosemont has announced the return of Sparkle Light Festival at Impact Field, the premier holiday destination for family fun. This year, Sparkle Light Festival will feature a brand new, completely redesigned layout and addition of an ice skating rink. Visitors are invited to make magical memories while enjoying breathtaking displays of millions of holiday lights alongside a variety of holiday activities. Sparkle Light Festival will open on Friday, November 17, and will run through Sunday, December 31.

Impact Field is a 6,300-seat stadium located in Rosemont at the intersection of Balmoral Avenue and Pearl Street, west of I-294, at 9850 Balmoral Avenue. The ballpark serves as the home of the American Association of Professional Baseball team, the Chicago Dogs. Sponsored by Impact Networking, Impact Field offers a variety of different spaces and experiences for visitors including a private club, suites, field-level experience and more.

Sparkle Light Festival guests will stroll through five illuminated villages, including the Frozen Forest, Snowflake Circle, Winter Wonderland, the North Pole and Deck the Walls. Guests are invited to visit Santa Claus, ice-skate with friends, enjoy free train rides on the “Holly Trolly” train and go tubing down the Alpine Slide. Festive food and beverage options will also be available.

“Rosemont has always been a must-visit destination for holiday happenings, and we are thrilled that Sparkle Light Festival will once again light up Impact Field this winter,” said Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens. “Sparkle is the perfect addition to Rosemont’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment offerings for the holidays, and we can’t wait to welcome new and returning visitors to make this light festival a long-standing family tradition.”

Rosemont, Illinois, Chicagoland’s business and entertainment suburb, is conveniently located five minutes from O’Hare Airport and twenty minutes from Chicago’s downtown. Easily accessible via the area’s major highways, Rosemont is home to the Allstate Arena, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, a wide variety of hotel and dining options, Rosemont Theatre, Fashion Outlets of Chicago, Parkway Bank Park entertainment district and Impact Field.
