We recently received a courtesy copy of “Taco vs Burrito” to play as a family and we’ve fallen in love with it. If you’ve not heard about this clever little game let me share it with you.

Taco vs Burrito is a deliciously unpredictable card game where players compete to create the weirdest, wildest meal. Created by Alex Butler at age 7, this game is easy to learn and not so easy to win. Fun for (and play-tested by) all ages, Taco vs. Burrito is the ultimate Game Night Food Fight! Surprisingly strategic and with more than five ways to play, this feast of fun is designed for kids and adults alike to keep returning for seconds. All you need to do is put together the dish with the most points, and watch out for the health inspector!

Alex Butler (now age 10) was 7 when he launched his first Kickstarter, making over $24,000 for Taco vs. Burrito and “blowing his mind.” Since then he’s brought the game to Amazon, made additional expansion packs, and has even created a second award-winning game with his mom called Bold Made. When this grader isn’t designing card games, he’s devouring manga and anime, playing ping pong, and working on making his own video game!

Seriously, we like the game so much it’s already been purchased and given to the kid’s friends as birthday gifts.
