My son (5th grade) found a way to root the phone and remove most of the Troomi restrictions baring him from downloading apps like Roblox or surfing on the open web.

Disclaimer: I’ve teamed up with Country Financial to share my experience of attending the Chicago Battle of the Badges 2017 and their financial services. I have been compensated for writing this post.

My first time watching a boxing match. It was at the 15th Annual Chicago #BattleoftheBadges presented by COUNTRY Financial. #ad #theta360 – Spherical Image – RICOH THETA

I attended the 15th Annual Chicago Battle of the Badges presented by COUNTRY Financial yesterday. The event was held at De La Salle Institute on a rainy night in the city. I arrived early to attend a meet & greet and small social gathering of bloggers, media, sponsors and representatives from Chicago’s Fire Department & Police departments. Everyone was friendly and there were photos being taken all over the place.

‪Thanks to @hellocountry I got to meet @Yursar tonight at #BattleOfTheBadges. ‬ #theta360 – Spherical Image – RICOH THETA

Yuri Sardarov, of Chicago Fire, was on hand to show his support at the event. He was a super nice guy to chat with and was kind enough to take a photo with me. He also thought my 360 camera was cool.

COUNTRY Financial is a title sponsor of yearly Chicago’s Battle of the Badges event where the Chicago Police and Fire Departments come together for a series of friendly boxing matches to raise money for charities that support families of fallen first responders. These men and women who are first responders put their lives on the line every day. They invest their time and resources beyond the job in everything from local farmers markets to children’s education initiatives. COUNTRY Financial is proud to be committed to supporting events and programs that grow and enrich Chicago’s communities and local businesses.

The opening of the event was very patriotic. Several awards were then given out to local community volunteers. COUNTRY Financial also made a short presentation showing its support of the event. Then the competition started. I’ve never seen a boxing match in person before last night. The energy level of the room was high. There were good intentioned cheers, boos and everything in between. I am thankful that I was able to attend take part in the event’s fundraising and festivities.

COUNTRY Financial helps Chicagoans achieve financial security, offering a full range of products and services to meet your insurance and financial needs.
