Disclosure: We were invited guests for the Wednesday, December 12, 2018 show of Cirque Dreams Holidaze at the Chicago Theatre. All thoughts and opinions shared in this post are my own.

This year was the first time we were able to see the annual breathtaking tradition that is Cirque Dreams Holidaze in person. Abigail and I got to attend with the kids and my brother-in-law David. It was amazing. I went into the performance without any expectations of what was about to happen. I’m going to make attending this show a holiday tradition in our family because it was that fantastic. There was music, dancing, blazing fast costume changes, and jaw-dropping performances that kept us on the edge of our seats throughout most of the show.

I found myself verbally saying “No way!” as some of the tricks were done on stage and in the air! My brother-in-law was also repeating “How is that even possible?” more than once. Want a taste of the show? Take a look at the video below:

Audiences will experience elaborate costumed characters, including snowmen, penguins, candles, reindeer, toy soldiers, gingerbread men, Santa and ornament as they fly, balance and stretch imaginations in this festive holiday celebration.Exciting theatrical production numbers, illusions and gravity-defying feats will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
