Theodore has recently become moderately interested in the potty. He flushes the toilet whenever he can and often likes running around the house without a diaper on and occasionally makes it to the potty in time for business to commence. He’s not ripped off a diaper in public yet, but I’m half expecting it ot […]
For every LEGO® ornament built and shared, the LEGO Group will donate one LEGO set through local charity partners, giving 500,000 children around the world the chance to play.
My one year old had enjoyed his meal thoroughly. That odd mix of apple sauce, home-made guacamole, mac & cheese, water, milk, and grilled chicken was all over him. It was also all over the floor, counter and wall near him. It was one of those messes that makes a caregiver sigh, but also smile. […]
Our midwest tradition of visiting an apple orchard and corn maze continued this year. You might have noticed in yesterday’s post that Wes is a BIG fan of Super Mario. We have a little dare devil on our hands. This was never more clear to us than the first time we took Mr. Dude into a fair type atmosphere where he was actually big enough to ride the rides. Standing at just over 36 inches (36.8" to be exact) Mr. Dude could ride many, but not all of the rides at Navy Pier's Winter Wonderfest last month.
We quickly realized that getting home from San Francisco over the weekend start of Fleet Week was going to be impossible so we spent a couple of days up north in the California Redwoods. The first thing we did before the long trip north? We check-out of our hotel and then stopped for tacos. These tacos […]
