Disclosure: I’ve joined the Netflix #StreamTeam and have been compensated for writing this post.
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I’m a fan of all of the candy, apple orchards, corn mazes, haunted houses and most importantly scary movies. Netflix has an impressive list of frightening movies this time of year. It can sometimes be tricky to know what’s great and what’s just okay based on a movie’s rating. I’m here to share my list of must-see Halloween flicks now streaming on Netflix. They are in alphabetical order and range from the silent era, to foreign language zombies, to modern day slashers and much in between. These are movies for parents and older teens, they are not meant for a younger viewing audience. Watch quickly, though, not all of these will still be on the streaming service once November 1, 2015, rolls around.
100 Bloody Acres (2012) 1h 30m [NR]

Dolls are always scary, and this dummy is no exception.
Dead Snow (2009) 1h 31m [NR]
This Norwegian horror film is all about a group of co-eds heading out into the wilderness to spend a nice fun weekend at a cabin. A hoard of zombie Nazis left over from WWII are of course woken up from their sleep and cause all sorts of mayhem.
