MEET THE MIGHTY Kitchen Aid Artisan Mini  – MINI MIXER. POWERFUL PERFORMANCE.

The recently introduced Kitchen Aid Artisan Mini is now available to purchase at Best Buy. It’s a new and innovative addition to the KitchenAid Stand Mixer Family that we were excited to try out on one of our favorite cupcake recipes: The “Chocolate Graham Cracker Cupcakes with Toasted Marshmallow” by Martha Stewart. We originally made this recipe for the first time back in 2010.

This time around we’ve got a four-year-old who LOVES to cook. He’s always in the kitchen with us and wants to take part in every step of the process. He was all smiles the whole evening.

Ingredients all assembled. Cupcake pans prepped with liners. Kitchen Aid Artisan Mini unboxed and ready to go. Cooking assistant making faces.

The NEW Artisan Mini Stand Mixer is 20% smaller and 25% lighter than the original, making it the ideal culinary tool for smaller spaces and kitchens. It is lighter in weight so you can easily move it around your kitchen and has the same iconic design and power as our other tilt-head stand mixers. This makes perfect sense for our little apartment because of the limited kitchen counter space we deal with when preparing food.

Something I learned this time around is that crushed graham cracker crumbs are a thing that can be purchased on their own. We had to improvise due to my poor planning. I had purchased a box of normal graham crackers. Wes was ecstatic about using his toy hammer to smash up the graham crackers I had purchased.

You can see the chocolate and graham cracker bottoms as well as the liners filled with batter.

This image shows the cupcakes after they have been baked with more graham cracker and chocolate on top.

Homemade marshmallow icing in progress. The Artisan Mini made the whole process super simple. It also looks cool.

The compact size and lighter weight perfectly suit the needs of a city dweller who loves to cook in their smaller spaces. Artisan Mini is made for your lifestyle, made for your kitchen, made for you. Though mini in size, the NEW Mini Stand Mixer can make up to 5 dozen cookies in it’s 3.5 quart stainless steel bowl. The Artisan Mini Stand Mixer also features 10 mixing speeds and comes with a coated flat beater, dough hook and 6-wire whip.

The cupcakes turned out beautifully and the Artisan Mini was a delight to use. It’s a sturdy piece of kitchen equipment we expect to have in our home for many years to come. There was plenty of space in the 3.5 quarts mixing bowl for the two dozen cupcake recipe. Wes has also nicknamed our new Artisan Mini ‘the Kitchenator’ because he’s awesome.

The Kitchen Aid Artisan is now available for purchase at Best Buy.
