Our recent family outing to see the Blue Man Group in Chicago was the most show fun yet!

The iconic theatrical sensation, Blue Man Group, is taking its resident productions to a whole new level with a national partnership alongside the renowned creative agency, Pretty Damn Sweet. The collaboration brings cutting-edge visual technology upgrades to their shows across the United States, starting with their Chicago production at the Briar Street Theatre.

“Blue Man Group performances are constantly evolving to connect with changes in today’s cultural landscape,” said Blue Man Group Managing Director Jack Kenn. “These technological enhancements will offer audiences across North America a new and brilliant iteration of the show where they can experience richer visual stories while enjoying the incredible performances that keep audiences coming back to Blue Man Group.”

One of the most captivating additions is the installation of 17 new screens, including a massive 60-foot scrim spanning the width of the stage. These enhancements create a truly immersive environment for the audience, making them an integral part of the Blue Man Group experience. Throughout the 90-minute performance, the audience will be spellbound by over 20 minutes of all-new state-of-the-art video content, perfectly synchronized with the Blue Men and the band.

But that’s not all! To mark the occasion, Blue Man Group Chicago is has unveiled a thrilling and exclusive opening act titled “Above,” which debuted this summer.

Wesley, who has attended Blue Man Group shows in the past, enjoyed the visuals most this time around. The highlight of his night was when one of the Blue Men found him in the crowd and gave him some chocolates. He had Wesley toss them in the air, using non-verbal cues to give instructions on what was expected, and he caught them all in his mouth! It really was incredible – three separate chocolates, three separate tosses, three separate successful catches!

“With new advancements in the creative technology space every day, it’s exciting to see a global entertainment brand such as Blue Man Group invest in pushing the production to the cutting edge,” said Pretty Damn Sweet Co-Founder Stephen Gifford. “Through this partnership, we’ve created new and exciting content that will take Blue Man Group audiences on a gorgeous abstract ride of humor, science, art, and more.”

Join Blue Man Group and Pretty Damn Sweet on this thrilling journey of innovation and creativity, and experience a show like never before. Get ready to be amazed! Tickets to Blue Man Group Chicago’s future performances are now on-sale starting at $49. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary experience.
