A Letter From My Future Self

You’re a hard worker, Joel. Many people admire that about you, but you don’t take care of yourself enough. Get more sleep. Watch your diet. Those will be helpful things to focus on now in order to avoid some future issues.

Netflix Is Officially Working on a Bill Nye “Talk Show”

Netflix will debut “Bill Nye Saves the World" in the Spring of 2017. It will be a show that explores the impact of science on politics, society, and pop culture. Each episode is set to tackle a specific topic from a scientific point of view. The end goal is to dispell myths and refute anti-scientific claims. Many such claims are expressed quite loudly by various politicians, religious leaders, and titans of industry. I can't wait.

A Talking Pancake and the ForkPro Unboxing by Denny’s

The latest installment of Denny's Breakfast Stuff Network has me geeking out. Pancake, from The Grand Slams, spent about a half hour on a live video stream doing questions & answers with fans while also giving away some rad Denny's swag.

Denny’s Is Now Better At Making Pancakes Than I Am

The truth for him was that what may have in reality been dirt on the window was out to get him.

Respect Your Face

Mr. Dude colored in his brand new coloring book and Abigail and I got to talk through out most of breakfast. It was glorious. Oh, and the food was great too. I had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, some apples and a few bites of Mr. Dude's leftover pancakes. The best part? I didn't have to do the dishes afterwards. All I had to do was pay and leave a tip!

The Father I Want To Be, But Am Afraid I Am Not

My extended family has some stories. Not all of them are the funny, light hearted things you might want to share with strangers at parties to break the ice. They are the sorts of things we don’t talk about. Not with each other let alone with the public. There were choices made that could have […]
