Wesley wanted to be the bus from Magic School Bus this year. We, of course, loved the idea too! Abigail got super crafty with it too.
We turned this Sam’s Club box (from a sponsored post about Pamper’s I did recently) into the school bus.
We cut, taped, and primed it in the garage. Whoa did that garage door need to be open too! It has been a long time since I painted anything. Fumes galore.
Next, we painted it yellow and added wings.
Abigail then performed magic and it turned into this.
I added the Illinois vanity license plate.
Abigail was Ms. Frizzle.
Theo was Liz.
I was Arnold, but I didn’t do the red hair. We couldn’t find a shirt like his so I got fabric paint and made one on my own!
The annual family custom photo took a while too. Not everyone had the same idea.
Eventually, we got it figured out. Here we are in our Magic School Bus costumes.
