How to Delete Your Spotify Account

Neil Young, Canadian singer-songwriter with dozens of albums and tens of millions of copies sold, recently gave notice to Spotify that they could have his music or shock jock and disinformation junkie Joe Rogan on their service, not both.

“They can have Rogan or Young,” Neil Young wrote in a letter to his manager and label posted and then removed from his website. “Not both”

This letter was posted after “A call from the global scientific and medical communities to implement a misinformation policy” was shared by 270 leaders in the scientific and medical communities aimed at Spotify in an effort to remove the host from their services.

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Joe Rogan has repeatedly spread misleading and false claims on his podcast, provoking distrust in science and medicine,” the letter from experts states.

Spotify Has Chosen Rogan’s Dangerous Misinformation Over Scientific Fact

Now, it turns out that money is more important to Spotify than the safety of its listeners. While Young stands to lose 60% of his streaming income. It was announced today that Spotify is taking down Neil Young’s music.
