30 Days of Activities At Home With The Kids [Day Twenty Three]

I started writing this series the morning I got an email from my son’s school issuing a notice saying that the schools would be closed for at least two weeks (but likely longer) due to the current Covid-19 outbreak. Many parents are in the same spot. This is why I’m doing this.

Each day I’ll share a simple activity that you can do with your kids that will help pass the time. Sometimes these with be educational. Sometimes these activities will be family projects. Sometimes they will simply be entertainment options.

If you want to add some ideas to the list please do so in the comments.

You can see the full list of activities (updated daily through-out the 30 day series) at DaddysGrounded.com/30days/

Day Twenty Three: Chicago White Socks Online Kids Activities

I recently heard from the Chicago White Sox about some digital activities they have produced for young baseball fans. This is a great collection of fun content for parents to use when engaging their children in baseball activities prior to the start of the 2020 season. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that start too.

The Chicago White Sox have a whole White Sox Online Kids page full of activities for families. Have you checked it out yet? Let me know in the comments!

You might be wondering at this point: “Hey, I thought you loved the Chicago Cubs?” Yes, I do cheer for the Chicago Cubs, but I consider myself a fan of Chicago sports more than I do just one specific team. Plus, I wasn’t contacted by the Northside team to featured their kids activities page.
